Shafii is a senior at Cal State Fullerton and a has received 2^nd team Big West honors in 2006.  As a native of Mission Viejo he attended Woodbridge High School were he achieved a CIF championship in 2003.  Shafii also competed in the Coast soccer premier level for the Irvine Strikers soccer club.
